It is one of the oldest balneological resorts in Russia that started to operate in 1810. Local hunters and fishermen have been using its hot springs to treat digestive tract diseases and improve nervous and endocrine systems for centuries. There will be a few stops along the way at the most interesting places on the coast (e.g. Lake Kotokel, Turtle Rock, and other).

Day 2

Start your day with a City Tour of the historic part of Ulan-Ude. Then continue to Ivolga Datsan - the centre of Buddhism in Russia. After lunch - a trip to the Old Believers village. Exiled from Poland "to the end of time" and living secludedly, they managed to preserve their unique culture, costumes, and folklore. You will visit the Old Believer Church at the village of Tarbagatai and tour a local community museum featuring Old Believers' heritage and lifestyle.
